Convention held this past September, we were an exhibitor at this gathering for all community-owned electric, natural gas and water utilities.
September 17-20 , 2007 Nebraska Assessor Workshop
A Nebraska Assessor's Workshop was held in Kearney, Nebraska, at the Holiday Inn Conference Center on September 17th through the 20th. There was a TerraScan Usergroup meeting on the afternoon of the 18th.
September 9-12 , 2007 Missouri Annual Cities Conference
The Missouri Annual Cities conference took place in Kansas City, Missouri on the 9th - 12th of September. TerraScan attended with information regarding the new GDoc software.
September 5-6 , 2007 Missouri Assessor Conference
Missouri's Annual Assessor conference was held on September 5th - 6th in Branson, Missouri.
August 6-9 , 2007 Washington Assessor Conference
The Washington State Association of County Assessors' conference was held at the Marcus Whitman Hotel in Walla Walla on August 6th through the 9th.
July 10-12 , 2007 TerraScan Washington User Group Meeting
TerraScan has invited both Washington Assessor and Treasurer Offices to join them this year in Wenatchee, at the Wenatchee Convention Center. The focus of this conference will be on the new T2 software. There will be a little bit of presentation, discussion, and training. Plus you can get your hands on the software.
June 11-15 , 2007 Washington State Association of County Treasurers
TerraScan attended the Washington State Association of County Treasurers Conference as an exhibitor. We introduced our new REET Management product, with demonstrations and question and answer sessions. We also spent time talking to Treasurers and other employees that use TerraScan in the County Treasurers office.
May 8-11 , 2007 South Dakota Assessor's Conference
TerraScan attended and exhibited at the South Dakota Association of Assessing Officers conference at the Ramkota in Aberdeen South Dakota. A Users Group meeting was held for Assessors and the new T2 software was presented. Discussions were held on a number of current software issues, with a few changes to software decided.
February 12-13 , 2007 League of Nebraska Municipalities - Mid-Winter Conference
TerraScan was on hand as a sponsor, an exhibitor, and to attend the conference sessions on upcoming municipal legislation at the League of Nebraska Municipalities Mid-Winter Conference at the Cornhusker Marriot Hotel in Lincoln Nebraska.

Microsoft has designated TerraScan a
Certified Partner as part of our ISV/Software
Solutions efforts on T2 Software.
 This
provides us with more technical resources to support
TerraScan products, including new license options

August 11, 2006 Oklahoma Users
Group
TerraScan attended the Oklahoma TerraScan Users
Group which met in Tulsa in conjunction with the
County Assessors Association of Oklahoma .
August 8, 2006 MapSifter 7.0
released
MapSifter 7.0 has been released. This
update includes map history, dynamic zoom, and the
introduction of a "mini" property card. In
addition, the navigation database can now use SQL
Server.
June 11-23, 2006 Washington
Assessors / Treasurer Association
Two weeks in Washington. First the
Assessors' Association conference ran from June
12-15. Then the Treasurer's Association conference
ran from June 19-23. Bremerton's new conference
center was the perfect place to be stuck for two
weeks. In between, Bill's family came up and spend
some time in Seattle, Lake Quinalt, and at the
shore.

Front Runner status
Microsoft announced today that TerraScan
Inc. has earned Front Runner status for their
commitment to SQL Server 2005 and passing the
independent Vertitest Platform tests for ISV
solutions.

TaxSifter
TaxSifter is now running on Microsoft SQL
Server, providing a robust, high performance
platform for future development. Also, TaxSifter now
complies with W3C Accessibility Conformance Level
AA, allowing a higher level handicapped
accessibility. Contact TerraScan for additional

April 5, 2006 T2 architecture
passes platform tests.
TerraScan's new software architecture has
passed the Microsoft Platform Tests for Windows 2003
Server and SQL Server 2005. These tests were
conducted by the independent testing firm, Veritest.
April 3, 2006 Whitman County
Washington selects TerraScan
The Board of Whitman County Commissioners
voted to select TerraScan as the software provider
for the Assessor and Treasurer offices. This will
include tools for appraisal, assessment
administration, tax collection, distribution,
permitting and inspection, and GIS integration.
March 23, 2006 TerraScan accepted
into the Microsoft ISV program
TerraScan has been excepted into the
Microsoft ISV program, which provides us access to
development resources within Microsoft and the
ability to offer our clients inexpensive licensing
options for Microsoft technologies.
